As a first‑generation Indian American, I learned early on how to move between cultures and perspectives. That experience shaped my curiosity about the world and inspired me to pursue a master’s degree in international peace and conflict resolution from American University. I began my career in international development, working on stabilization programs across Eastern Europe, Africa, and Latin America, where I saw firsthand how connection, communication, and trust can shape outcomes in even the most complex environments. The lessons I learned in those roles continue to guide me today and influence how I approach my work, my relationships, and the impact I hope to make.
