I came to communications through journalism. From an early age, I found myself fascinated by the news and understanding the forces that shaped the world. After graduating from SUNY Brockport, I moved to Washington, D.C. where I spent six years writing articles, supporting TV production, managing social media and driving digital content strategy across international beats. This gave me a sharp eye for what makes information land. I learned how to find the heart of an issue in complicated situations, how to reach different audiences and how to adapt quickly when a deadline suddenly shifted. I also came away with a genuine belief that good communication not only delivers a message, it connects and empowers people. As a Communications Specialist at Avid Core, I bring that same instinct to a consulting environment, motivated by the desire to help clients cut through complexity to communicate with clarity and purpose.
