After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I served in the Peace Corps in the Kyrgyz Republic, where I taught English in a local school. Following my service and graduate studies at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, I spent several years supporting the U.S. Government’s response efforts to humanitarian crises around the world with USAID.
