That’s what my mom called it when I would bring in my toy microphone and host my own show, interviewing everyone from my stuffed animals to any friend of my parents that happened to stop by. Since graduating from Southern Methodist University with a degree in journalism,  I’ve worked as a journalist across the South and in DC, crafted social media strategies, and spearheaded communications training at nonprofits and associations, but my core values and focus have remained the same as they were in my parents’ living room—I want to get to know your ‘why’ and help you communicate with impact.”
